PUPPIES

Our Puppies are 4 weeks old. In just 2 short weeks they will be ready to leave. They are so cute ! Emily is going to be so sad when they leave. They are all 4 boys. She has them all named.

Heading to Chicago !

We leave tomorrow night for Chicago ! SO EXCITED ! I have been printing out maps & stuff to do while we are there. We are going to the Eagles concert Wed night- me, Luke & Emily. Katie & Micheal staying back at the hotel. So stay tuned for new pictures when we return !

Fall

It totally feels like fall here today in Nebraska. I am in jeans & my favorite Dallas Cowboy sweatshirt. I love fall & the weather. I would prefer the HOT summer...but not really in the right place for that weather now am I ?? A friend emailed me the other day -shes from here- she says " I hear this winter is going to be bad. You gonna make it ?" NO I told her ! I am NOT ready for winter- at all. At least the cool thing about this winter compared to last winter- I do not have to leave the house for work...I only have to walk a few short feet out the back door to my studio. YEA ! No driving in it !
Ok I am gone to go have a girls night with some girls I used to work with. FUN !

First Day of school

So I may be a week late in posting this....but better late than never....plus most of you are just finding out this place. So its ok...right ?

Ok Emily started 5th grade this year- she started the 19th. She is so excited about all her friends...and one little cutie named "B"....thats really all she cared about. Sad how fast she is growing up & those boys that were gross are now all that matter ! She is going to be in band & orchestra this year- she will play the Saxaphone & Violin. I will post pics of her with her instruments later.

Micheal & Katie started school the following day....trust me there was teasing involved !

Micheal is a ...ok this is hard for me to type.... A SENIOR....as in his last year of high school ! WOW ! Where did it go ?? He is taking 2 college classes this year- English & Speech. He is so excited about his English class & loves it. He is excited about what all they have to read this year. YEA ! I wrote out the checks to the college this morning for his classes & books. Told him if he fails them he has to pay me back ! I know he will ace them both. He is planning on staying here for at least 1-2 years to go to the community college here in GI.We told him as long as he is working & going to school he may live here...with rules of course. He was shocked- he thought he HAD to leave when he graduated ! He has been dating his girlfriend for 3 months now. She is a sweety & is going to school here as well for nursing.

Here he is his first day being a total dork- we have yet to do his Sr pics yet ! I will share when I get them done.

Katie is in the 10th grade this year....oh my loud & boisterous Katie Bug ! She is a crazy girl ! She is all about her friends & having fun ! She totally enjoys life. She is busy with choir & dance- thats all she does too...sings & dances....dances & sings.....love it ! She is going to go get her driving permit this week. LOOK OUT everyone !!!!

Katies first day of 10th grade

Luke news- he is doing great . He is still taking his daily injections. He has had a couple of VERY SCARY reactions. But all in all doing good. He has been SO BUSY around the house. His project list is a mile long....just wished it was all done.

Me~ I have been so busy with my photography business ! I am so happy how good it is all going ! I am so thankful that I have a great hsuband who supported my dream & has made it all happen. Business is KICKING BUTT !! Plus I love what I am doing ! I have started WW- I have lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks. I need to remember margaritas are bad...so are Big Red's....so are chips & salsa.....and not drinking enough water ! It will come off faster once I do what I am supposed to do.

Family news- we leave Sept 23 for Chicago. We are flying out Tues night & come back Fri afternoon. This started out as a getaway for Luke & I - we were going to go see the Eagles in concert. Well Emily is a HUGE Eagles fan like her daddy- he had already promised her if he ever went to a concert she could go too. So the 3 of us were just going to go- then I felt bad & now it is a mini family trip !

Ok Luke is gone playing poker. I use my Wed night to get caught up on work....better get after it !

BACK BLOGGING

Well I missed blogging, so I am back. This time with a family blog- that doesnt mean I still wont say the F word when I feel like it though- so there- that was your warning ! This summer was a BUSY summer. School starts in one week...all I have to hold on to is one more week ! I can do it ! I am also creating a weight loss journey blog. I joined Weight Watchers last night. I am FAT....I am tired of being FAT. So I am making changes....we all are around here ! So I will post it when I get it up & running. Well I am knee deep in editing Sr pics....so I better get back to work.
